Redesigned Google Maps appears on screenshots goes for Google Now like design

Thanks to a couple of screenshots that leak-focused Google Operating System blog got hold of, we can now take a glimpse of what the redesigned Maps service will looks like.
The Maps design refresh is in line with Google’s new design language that we first saw in Google Now. Evidently, the left sidebar is now gone and is replaced with cards that show different pieces of information and navigation options.
Another thing that we can learn from the screenshots is that Google+ sees deeper integration within the mapping service. In the new version of Maps you’ll be able to narrow filter search results down to places that your friends have gone to or liked.
Naturally, the new design brings a new icon set as well as colors to the maps themselves. The Android Maps app is also expected to get a redesign and start to look more like its iOS sibling, but we are yet to see screenshots of that
Google I/O is not too far away, merely a week away in fact. At the Google developer conference, the company is having a panel dedicated entirely to Maps called “Into the future”. You can rest assured that the search giant is going to showcase the work it has done to Maps.

How to Unlock Samsung Galaxy If Forgot The Google Account

How to unlock samsung galaxy if you forget the google account ? I was been asked such problem many times. First of all, I want to declare, Im not a professional Samsung staff, but Im very interested in samsung products, and I also often help some friends who use Samsung Galaxy solve some technical problems. In order to help more friends, I will share some experience about Samsung here from time to time. Lets start todays topic, how to unlock Samsung Galaxy.

First Case: Unlock Samsung Galaxy with Google Account.
Locked Samsung Galaxy, but luckily, you remember the google account username and password, things to be simple. Just try logging into google and click forgotten your password etc and go through it that way, once you have done this just type the user and password into your phone.

Second Case: Unlock Samsung Galaxy without Google Accout.
You forgot google account username and password unluckily, well, factory reset is the possible way for you. Warn:factory reset will make all your data loss, so its necessary to backup the important data first. If you forgot to backup data, it doesnt matter, check out this tutorial http://www.any-data-recovery.com/topics/mobile-devices/restore-samsung-galaxy.html to get your data back.

Perform Samsung Galaxy factory reset following these steps
1. power your phone completely down.
2. hold down the volume down button
3. tap the power button whilst doing this
4. the hboot screen should appear
5. use the volume buttons to scroll down to factory reset/restore (called different things depending on the software version)
6. click the power button to select
7. click power button to confirm
8. the phone will do a factory reset.

The methods above are D-I-Y, there is a more simple way, thats get in touch with the Samsung tec line.

Nokia releases official hands on videos for the Asha 501

The Nokia Asha 501 has just been announced in India and Nokia has already released two new hands-on videos that show the phone in greater detail.
Both the videos do a good job of showcasing the new hardware and the software on the Asha 501. The Asha 501 comes in five colors and looks quite stunning, especially in the bright orange and green shades. The back covers are removable and you can change them to a different color.
On the software side, Nokia is employing a completely new version of the Asha OS that relies heavily on swipe-based gestures that reminds one of MeeGo OS on the Nokia N9. The OS also has a new BlackBerry Hub like feature called Fastlane that collects all your past, present and future notifications and recently used applications for quick access. You can go to the application drawer by a swipe on the right.

AT T will begin selling 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4 on May 10

AT&T announced pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 with 32GB of built-in memory. The smartphone will be available on May 10 for $249.99 with a two-year commitment to the carrier.
Given the relatively modest price increase over the $199.99 16GB version, the Samsung Galaxy S4 with 32GB looks like the more sensible choice from the duo. Numerous reports on the web have pointed that the 16GB version comes with slightly less than 9GB of available memory to the user, which is hardly plentiful.

CyanogenMod 10 1 on its way to the Snapdragon Galaxy S4 T Mobile only for now

Steve Kondik, creator and leading developer at the most popular custom ROM project – CyanogenMod – went on Facebook with a very important screenshot. It shows a Samsung Galaxy S4 model SGH-M919 (for T-Mobile) sporting CM 10.1.
The Galaxy S4 in question is the one yielding the Snapdragon 600 chipset and despite being an exclusive (and early) port it could mean all Snapdragon-equipped S4s will eventually get the CyanogenMod treatment.
Here’s the screenshot in question. There are still many things that are buggy or altogether non-operational but in an update Steve Kondik said that the baseband and all core functions are working.

CM 10.1 on T-Mobile Galaxy S4
There’s still no word on the Exynos-powered Galaxy S4 but we’ve heard some CM team members discuss the possibility of CM not making it to the Galaxy S4, even though Steve Kondik himself has said that hereally likes the phone.

Sharp AQUOS 206SH announced for the Japanese market

Sharp has launched the AQUOS 206SH for the SoftBank carrier in Japan. Although it might seem like just another high-end phone, it does have a trick up its sleeve.

The basic specifications include a 5.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution display, quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 13.1 megapixel camera and Android 4.2. But the AQUOS 206SH includes an enormous 3,080mAh battery, which Sharp says will last up to two full days with the included Eco Tech mode.
The AQUOS 206SH uses a CG Silicon TFT LCD, which along with offering better performance and consuming less power, is also thinner, which makes it possible to include a large battery without the phone being significantly thicker.
The phone is said to go on sale in Japan in late June. Unfortunately, it will be exclusive to the Japanese market.

Samsung Galaxy Camera Failed How to Fix Camera Failed Error on Samsung Galaxy

Samsung galaxy camera failed error on S3
Black screen and says warning camera failed when I turn the samsung galaxy camera. Camera failed. Starting camera, nothing happens, freeze. No help from several reboot or several factory data reset or just from several reset. Still gives error message (like you see on picture). Any other recommendations how to fix this error?

Generally speaking, one of the four ways below could solve the Samsung galaxy s camera failed error.

Way one
The taking photos are stored in the memory card, maybe something wrong happen on the storage, so try to format memory card.
Please Note: formatting memory card will cause data loss, before you do that, please backup important files. Don’t panics if you forgot to make a backup, Tenorshare Photo Recovery is the simple way help to recover lost data.

Way two
The old firmware on your current phone may have bugs, and then just need to update your phone to new firmware to see if it can help samsung galaxy s3 camera failed

Way three
Disable the Location option in your Samsung Galaxy.

Way four
Factory reset is the all purpose way to solve phone software problem.

Fix samsung galaxy camera failed error unsuccessful with four ways above?  Here is a method as most people have had success with it.
Step 1 Go into Settings, and choose Applications.

Step 2 Choose Running Services from the Applications menu.

Step 3 Press the Menu key to show the option Show cached processes when shown the list of Running services, select Show cached processes.

Step 4 Scrolling through the list of cached processes look for the Camera app and select it.

Step 5 You will have the option to Stop it when you select the Camera process.  Choosing Stop should successfully release the camera hardware.

Return to your home screen after stopping the cached camera process and try relaunching the camera program or whatever other program you were trying to run when you ran into the “Camera Failed” error message.

In my experience this methods have been as good and many times for camera failed samsung galaxy s error. Not only work on S3, but also work for samsung galaxy s2 camera failed and more Samsung galaxy versions.

Any question about Samsung Galaxy recovery? Please leave your comments!

HTC Butterfly Android 4 2 2 firmware with Sense 5 1 leaks

A system dump of the HTC Butterfly, the international twin of the Droid DNA, running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense 5.1 UI has leaked. The system dump is available in the source link below courtesy of a XDA-developer named Zarboz.

The upcoming Android 4.2.2 upgrade for the HTC Butterfly smartphone also comes with the BlinkFeed homescreen weve come to know from the HTC One. The latest Sense UI has an added option to switch back to the stock home screen, which displays only widgets and shortcuts.
Furthermore, the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS offers you quick shortcuts and toggles in the notifications and the tapping on the toggles on Sense 5 activates the toggle as opposed to the stock Android, which takes you the Settings page. As you already know, the toggles and the quick shortcuts can be accessed by swiping two fingers down the screen.
Check out the goodies from Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.1 in action on the HTC Butterfly below:
Unfortunately, the HTC Zoe, the advanced imaging technology seen on the One, will not be available in this build. However, HTC might still add the Zoe in the final version of the OS.
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense 5.1 UI seems to be smooth and is said to enhance the performance of the device with few minor tweaks and other improvements. HTC is rumored to release the update this month.
